Sunshine and smiling faces greeted the Empty Bowls fundraiser participants on the Natchez Bluff on Sunday following the dreary weather on Saturday.
Over 100 people came to support the fundraiser with 100 percent of its proceeds benefitting the Natchez Stewpot to feed the hungry and shut-in people of Natchez.
Empty Bowls is a biennial event where participants purchase a bowl of gumbo and choose from one of hundreds of bowls handcrafted and donated by area potters.
Here are a few scenes from the festivities.
