Ms. Dzifa Takyi-Johnson of Austin, TX, and Dr. Alton Johnson of Stuttgart, AR, both formerly of Natchez, announce the engagement of their son, Nzo Caleb Johnson to Keyanna Gayden, daughter of Ms. Emma Rodgers and Mr. James Gayden Jr. both of Monroe, LA.

 

The bride-to-be is a 2018 undergraduate of Loyola University in New Orleans. She received Master’s degrees in 2021 and 2022 from the University of West Alabama in Counseling and Psychology and Mental Health Counseling. She currently works for the Center for Children and Families in Monroe, LA, where she is a family therapist, providing trauma-focused services utilizing TF-CBT.

 

The groom is a 2010 graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Philosophy from Clarke College in Dubuque, IA. During his tenure there he played Baseball in the position of designated hitter and right outfielder for the Crusaders. He obtained his Master of Business Administration from Alcorn State University in 2017. He currently works as an agent for New York Life Insurance and NYLIFE Securities in Monroe, LA.

 

The wedding will be held in Calhoun, LA on April 12, 2025.

 

The couple will be residing in Monroe.
