NATCHEZ – Job-seekers and businesses looking for employees can take advantage of two upcoming career fairs in Natchez.
The first event takes place March 27 and is focused on job opportunities and openings for first responders.
The job fair targets aspiring EMTs, police officers, firefighters and paramedics and will include opportunities for both full-time and part-time employment. Prospective employees should bring a resume and a photo ID.
The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 27 at the River Room at the Depot, 200 N. Broadway St., Natchez. It is hosted by Natchez Workforce Development and more information can be found by calling 601-443-3066.
A Miss-Lou Career and Resource Fair takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m .on Thursday, April 3.
The event will showcase Miss-Lou businesses and organizations looking to tap into the local workforce, and potential employers can sign up here or by reaching out to Natchez Workforce Development at 601-443-3066.
Job-seekers are encouraged to attend the event, which will also feature free resources and career guidance. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday April 3 at the Natchez Convention Center.
The Miss-Lou Career and Resource Fair is being offered by Natchez Workforce Development in partnership with The City of Natchez, The Adams County Board of Supervisors, WIN Job Center Natchez, Alcorn State University, Natchez-Adams County School District, Natchez Inc., Delta Regional Authority and 97.7 The Beat.
