NATCHEZ — The Miss-Lou community has once again shown its incredible generosity, helping 95 Country, WQNZ Natchez set a new record during its 95 Country Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon on March 13 and 14.

This year’s radiothon raised an outstanding $56,237, surpassing last year’s record of $51,915 — the most ever raised in a single year by the station.

Over the past decade, 95 Country and its loyal listeners have contributed a remarkable $410,635 to support the lifesaving work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Every dollar raised helps ensure that families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food, allowing them to focus entirely on their child’s health.

“Year after year, our listeners and community partners prove just how much they care about St. Jude and its mission,” said Margaret Perkins, president and CEO of Listen Up Y’all Media. “Breaking our own record is an incredible achievement, and it’s all thanks to the giving and compassionate people of the Miss-Lou.”
