NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Napoleon Johnson III, 76, of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Saturday, March 22, 2025, in Natchez, will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 2 p.m. at West Gate Funeral Home (George F. West, Sr. Memorial Chapel).

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

No visitation will be held.

Napoleon was born May 23, 1948, the son of Beaulah Mae Johnson and Napoleon Johnson, Jr. He was a graduate of Dillard University. Mr. Johnson enjoyed watching football, basketball, and baseball.

He was preceded by his parents and brothers, Frank Johnson, Sr., and Tyrone Johnson.

Napoleon’s memories will be forever cherished by his son, Naron Johnson; siblings, Edward Johnson, Sr. (Dianne), Gloria Ford (J. D.), Bettye Lewis, Darryl Johnson (Sharon), Donald Fletcher (Vicky) and Barry Fletcher (Kathy), Gwen Harris (Leonard) and Barbara Fletcher; grandchildren, Anicia Johnson, Kamron Mack; great-granddaughter, Kennedy Harden; aunt, Mary Brown; uncles, Robert Johnson, Leonard Johnson, Willie Johnson; special friend, Camille Barnes, other relatives and friends.
