NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Charles Edward Anderson Jr., 66, of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Monday, March 24, 2025, in Natchez will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. at West Gate Funeral Home (George F. West, Sr. Memorial Chapel) with Rev. Birdon Mitchell officiating.

Burial will follow at Milford Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Charles was born June 10, 1958, in Natchez, the son of Ora Newell Griffin and Charles Edward Anderson Sr. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy. Charles was a self-employed landscaper and professional semi-truck driver. He enjoyed gardening, landscaping, riding horses, road traveling and listening to music.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Gloria Johnson and Sharon McKnight.

Charles leaves to cherish his memories: sister, Vicki Myles, and a host of half-brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
