CONCORDIA PARISH, La.— Starting this week, Concordia Parish will experience lane closures in sections of Louisiana Highway 565, according to Louisiana Department of Transportation officials.

The closures will start where the road intersects with Louisiana Highway 129 to the intersection of Louisiana Highway 15.

These alternating lane closures will happen during the day beginning Friday, April 4, and ending approximately Sept. 30.  No night work is expected, according to LA DOTD.

No detour will be needed as only lane closures will take place. LA DOTD reminds drivers to be careful driving through the construction area and to be on the lookout for work crews and equipment.
