NATCHEZ — Separate vehicle wrecks happened almost simultaneously around the 5 p.m. rush hour Thursday.

One of these was a two-vehicle accident that happened on Seargent Prentiss Drive near Relax Inn and the other was a two-vehicle accident near the Corner Bar at Canal and State streets.

Ambulances responded to both crashes and all four drivers went to the hospital. Injuries are unknown at this time. However, Natchez Police Chief Cal Green said none appeared to be serious or life-threatening.

“All of them had complaints of pain,” she said, adding that none of the vehicles had any passengers.
