McCready arrested on bench warrant after traffic stop

NATCHEZ — The Adams County Sheriff’s Office arrested Travis McCready, 37, of Natchez on a bench warrant issued by Sixth District Circuit Court Judge Debra Blackwell for failure to appear.
The bench warrant was issued in December 2024 for failure to appear to court in Franklin County.
McCready was arrested after deputies pulled him over for a traffic stop Friday afternoon on U.S. 84 in Adams County near Farr Road.
McCready is the former lead singer of the once popular Natchez band Bishop Gunn.
