NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Oscar Hill Porter Sr., 67, of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Monday, March 31, 2025, in Jackson, will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Bethel Church with Pastor Troy Thomas, officiating.

Burial will be at Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Clarksdale, MS. Services are under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Oscar was born on March 16, 1958, in Clarksdale, MS, the son of Annie Lee Porter and Charles Pitman.  He was a graduate of Clarksdale High School and furthered his education at a Junior College. He was a retired restaurant manager and insurance agent. Mr. Porter was a member of Bethel Church. He was a member of “The Voices of Harmony.” Oscar enjoyed fishing, singing, and spending time with family and friends.
