NATCHEZ — Eight thousand eggs! That’s how many Easter eggs UMB donated for Saturday’s Easter Egg Hunt on the Bluff.
Saturday proved the ideal day for egg hunting. Dozens of children didn’t have to look to hard to fill their Easter baskets or bags with the plentiful plastic eggs.
Dr. Neifa Hardy, the city’s community liaison, thanked city staff, members of the Mayor’s Youth Council, who were up early Saturday scattering eggs at the north end of the Bluff, as well as sponsors UMB, G&J Jump House, DJ Nugenjz, Cricket phone service and Hawaiian Snow Cones.
