VIDALIA, La. — The Town of Vidalia’s third-annual Healthy Heart and Resources on the River Community Information Fair is this Saturday, April 26, at the Vidalia Conference & Convention Center, 112 Front St.

Festivities begin at 9 a.m. and last until 2 p.m.

Every 30 minutes, a new guest speaker will provide free health information to the public.

Topics and resources available include: diabetic education, wound care information, footcare, home health and nursing home information, LSU Ag Center resources, Smoke Detectors, Vidalia Garden Club information, diabetic shoes, advanced medical testing, fraud and scam information, blood pressure checks, crime prevention, food and nutrition, triad services, IV infusions, senior Medicare services and more.

Healthy snacks and giveaways will also be provided.

Medication disposal will be provided by the Vidalia Police Department; No liquids, needles or glass containers are permitted.
