Saturday’s schedule includes “Fly Me to the Sky” at the Natchez Bluff. Kite making and demonstrations begin at 10 a.m. and continue to noon. Kite flying will begin at 1 p.m. and continue until 6 p.m.
Sunday is Free Fly on the Bluff, with open kite flying for all attendees.
“This festival is designed to encourage students to participate and provide an educational experience through hands-on activities and creative expression,” said Lynette West, chairperson of the Kite Festival for Pretty Girls with Brains.
