Concordia Parish woman arrested for forgery, identity theft

VIDALIA, La. — The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office has recently arrested a Wildsville woman for three different counts of stolen identity, three counts of forgery and theft of more than $50,000.
CPSO’s Criminal Investigations Division received a complaint that Tori Estes Spinks, 47, had stolen the identities of three people and opened an investigation on March 21. According to the complaint, more than $50,000 was fraudulently obtained by Spinks, some of which included federal loans.
One victim became aware of the situation after noticing a garnishment from their paycheck.
An investigation revealed evidence of the alleged crimes, and arrest warrants were obtained. Spinks was arrested on Friday, April 11.
