RIBBON CUTTING: Officials celebrate trade school program at Co-Lin Natchez

The City of Natchez Workforce Development in partnership with Copiah Lincoln Community College and Build Mississippi, celebrated a ribbon cutting Monday for its new trade school program offered at Co-Lin Natchez that prepares students to work in fields such as heavy equipment operator, electrician, carpentry, CDL driver, plumbing and masonry.
Additionally, during the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the groups celebrated the first graduating class from the electrical program led by Willie A. Ellis. Public officials, including Natchez Mayor Dan Gibson, members of the Natchez Board of Aldermen and Adams County Board of Supervisors, Natchez Inc., the Natchez Adams County Chamber of Commerce, Natchez-Adams School District Superintendent Zandra McDonald and other stakeholders joined the celebration.
