FAYETTE – Funeral services for Bobby Joe Lowe, 72, of Fayette, who departed this earthly life on Thursday, April 24, 2025, in Vicksburg will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Lonnie Culbert officiating.

Burial will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home – Fayette Branch.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 3:30 until 5 p.m. at the Fayette branch and on Saturday from noon until the time of service at the church.

Bobby Joe was born on Oct. 16, 1952, in Oldenberg, MS, the son of Jessie Lowe. He graduated from Lilly Mae Bryant High School in Franklin County in 1971. During his working life, he worked at Carl Ray Lehmann Farms and Fayette Enterprises until his retirement. He was a member of the Higdon United Methodist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed driving his sports cars, collecting antiques, and rescuing animals.

He is preceded in death by his mother; daughter, Rochelle Stampley McKenzie; and brother, Willie Lowe.

Bobby Joe leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Audrey Stampley Lowe; daughters, Stephanie Lowe and Kimberly Lowe; sisters, Betty Bonds, Catherine Butler, Mary Amos, and Odessar Lowe; grandchildren, Breonna Knight, Summer McKenzie, Chadden Clark, JaKyra Turner, Kaylee Clark, Jarvis Turner Jr., Kaiser Clark; great-grandchildren, Brice Knight, Bentley Knight, and Bliss Knight; and a host of other relatives and friends.
