NATCHEZ – Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Natchez Campus is celebrating impressive strides this spring with a 16% increase in enrollment for Spring 2025 compared to Spring 2024, and a 35% increase in the number of graduates. These milestones highlight the momentum and commitment of the Natchez campus to student success, outreach, and community engagement.

This marks the third consecutive semester of enrollment growth at the Natchez Campus. The increase is the result of intentional and campus-wide efforts, including improved internal workflow, personalized student support, strategic data-driven decision-making, and a strong focus on retention and student engagement.

Signature events such as Co-Lin Day and CTE Preview Day have played a major role in recruitment success, providing hundreds of prospective students with hands-on exposure to programs, faculty, and campus life. Additionally, the consistent visibility of faculty and staff in the community has helped build stronger relationships and trust across the region.

“This growth is a reflection of the dedication and hard work of our entire Wolfpack Family,” said Dr. Pernell Goodwin, Vice President of the Natchez Campus. “When I assumed this role in May 2024, enrollment management became an immediate priority. For us, that means more than just bringing in new students — it’s about helping them stay, thrive, and walk across that graduation stage.”

Copiah-Lincoln Community College has consistently been ranked number 1 in the state for Student Success. The focus on retention and student support is paying off in graduation rates as well. This spring, the Natchez Campus will celebrate 130 graduates, up from Spring 2024 with a 35% increase in just one year.

The Spring 2025 Commencement Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 15 at 10 a.m. at the Natchez Convention Center, where families, faculty, and the community will come together to honor the accomplishments of the Class of 2025.
