FERRIDAY, La. — An Eros man has recently been arrested by the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office for 22 counts of indecent behavior with juveniles, as well as two counts of computer-aided solicitation of minors and attempted felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

CPSO states that Bradley L. Phillips, 41, had been arrested following a Special Victims Unit investigation that began in April.

Phillips reportedly solicited a minor online for sex, communicating with the juvenile through multiple social media accounts.

He reportedly tried to conceal his identity by using a false name and posing as an adult female. He then used this online profile to begin communicating with the juvenile through text messages.

The communications consisted of extremely lewd conversation with Phillis reportedly transmitting sexually explicit photos of himself to the minor and requesting photos of the child.

When he made plans to meet with the child on May 2, in Concordia Parish, Phillips arrived at the arranged location and met a team of CPSO investigators who arrested him without incident. He was booked into the Concordia Parish Correctional Facility with a bond of $275,000.

During a post-arrest interview, Phillips stated that he was the individual utilizing the social media account pretending to be an adult female.

He also said that the actual female did not know about the social media account set up in her name.

Anyone who may have been a victim of Phillips is urged to contact their local law

enforcement or CPSO’s Special Victims Unit at (318) 437-0740 Ext. 409.

As always, anyone who is arrested is presumed to be innocent until proven guilty.
