FERRIDAY – Funeral services for Lavell Warren, 68, of Ferriday, will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11 a.m. from the St. James Baptist Church on Skipper Drive in Ferriday under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Interment will follow at Ferriday Cemetery. Bishop Justin Conner will officiate. A visitation will be held on Friday evening at the funeral home from 4 until 6 p.m.

Mr. Warren, son of Ollie Warren Broussard and the late Claude Jackson, was born in New Orleans and died at his residence.

He is survived by his mother of Ferriday; his two children, Lavell Warren Jr. and Tantanisha W. Marlon; five grandchildren; and his good friend, Angela Foster.

Preceding him in death are his father, one brother, Roy Lee Warren; four aunts, Dorothy Mason, Victoria Taylor, Lela Warren, Alberta Wombie; and one uncle, Allen Warren.
