‘Paw-blic’ officials recognized at collaring ceremony for after DNA’s Pet Mayor of Natchez election

NATCHEZ — Newly elected pet officials were recognized on Saturday at a collaring ceremony on the steps of Natchez City Hall.
The pet mayor election was held as a fundraiser for the Downtown Natchez Alliance last month to support DNA’s efforts to revitalize downtown Natchez. Twenty percent of the funds raised, which in total was over 16,600, also supports local animal welfare organizations including the Natchez Adams County Humane Society, Hoofbeats and Pawprints Rescue and Spay Neuter Natchez.

Chief of PAWlice – Roni, Campaign Manager, Kathy Graning of Wardo’s
FUR Chief – Dart, Campaign Manager John Grady Burns of Nest
