NATCHEZ — A car wreck in Natchez on U.S. 61 near the Zaxby’s and Wendy’s restaurants ended with one car resting on its roof.

Natchez Police responded to the crash around 12:45 p.m.

Natchez Police Department commander Justin Jones said one driver had been leaving the parking lot of Wendy’s and collided with a southbound vehicle in the turning lane.

This collision caused the vehicle to overturn and the driver of that vehicle has been taken to Merit Health Natchez to be evaluated for any injuries, Jones said. The driver of the other vehicle received no apparent injuries.
