NATCHEZ — Those experiencing low water pressure on the morning of Memorial Day Monday, you’re not alone.
Reports of pressure loss have been made all over Natchez.
Mayor Dan Gibson said this is because of a lightning strike causing pumps to go off at the Natchez Water Plant.
”We had a lightning strike at our water plant. It caused the pumps to go off, resulting in a loss of pressure all over town. High pressure pumps have been activated and the situation should be resolved soon,” he said.
