NATCHEZ — After a few days of weather delays, the Natchez Adams County public swimming pool at 325 Liberty Road officially opened for the summer on Wednesday with a full crowd ready to swim in it.
The pool is open to the public from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Admission is $5 per day or $60 per month for a membership.
POOL RULES
Anyone under 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult, and anyone under 8 years old must have an adult with them in the swimming pool at all times. Young children under 3 years old or who are not potty trained must wear a swim diaper.
No outside food, drinks, or flotation devices are allowed and everyone must wear a bathing suit — no cotton shirts or shorts.
No running, diving or horseplay is allowed.
SWIM LESSONS
Swimming lessons are available to people of all ages this summer, with the first session starting June 3 through 13, the second on June 17 through 27, the third on July 8 through 18 and the fourth on July 22 through Aug. 1. The sessions are Tuesday through Friday, one hour per day and the cost is $60 per session.
