NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Robert Earl Johnson, 73, of Natchez, who passed away on May 27, 2025, will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez with Rev. Johnny Elery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pry’s Temple Church Cemetery.

Visitation services will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 5 until 7 p.m. and on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the service time. Both visitation services will be held at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez.

Robert, affectionately known as “Snook”, was born on May 2, 1952, in Adams County to Cannie Johnson and Ella Mae Grover. He was a retired professional bus driver.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Daisy Bynum and Essie B. Gaines.

“Snook” leaves to cherish his memories one brother, Johnnie Thompson Sr., and a host of other relatives.
