UPDATE: Additional charges brought on Ferriday man arrested for molestation of a juvenile

FERRIDAY, La. — Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office posted additional charges for a 66-year-old Ferriday man who has already been arrested for molestation of juveniles.
Sam M. Keys Jr. now faces a total of three counts of molestation of a juvenile victim under 13 years of age and four counts of molestation of a juvenile.
As the investigation continues, Keys was rebooked into the Concordia Parish Detention Center for an additional two counts of molestation of a juvenile victim under 13 years of age after the initial charges of one count molestation a juvenile victim under 13 years of age and four counts of molestation of a juvenile, according to a statement from CPSO.
The department received a report in early March from Ferriday High School about a juvenile victim being sexually assaulted.
The case was turned over to CPSO’s Cybercrime and Special Victims Unit, which immediately opened an investigation that identified Keys as a suspect.
With the assistance of the Alexandria Children’s Advocacy Center, probable cause was established and arrest warrants were obtained. Keys was taken into custody by CPSO deputies on Thursday, May 22, without incident.
