During municipal elections held on Tuesday, June 3, the City of Fayette, the seat of Jefferson County, chose five people to serve on the Board of Aldermen and formally reelected Mayor Londell Eanochs, who was unopposed.

Elected were Fredrick “Fred” Washington with 368 votes, Derrick Perryman with 329 votes, Ella Jean Hudson with 311 votes, Deliquin ‘Quincy’ James with 288 votes, and Jarret Dyer with 275 votes.

Not elected were Cedric Wayne Doss with 249 votes and Jiwaski Barker with 216 votes.
