NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Angela Renee Tenner, 52, of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Monday, June 2, 2025, in Houston, TX, will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with Bishop J. L. Hammitte officiating.

Burial will follow at the St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 5:30 until 6 p.m., and a Celebration of Life service will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Angela was born on Sept. 23, 1972, in Natchez, the daughter of Dorothy Thornburg Abraham and Nathan “WC” Tenner. She was a 1990 graduate of Natchez High School. Angela was a Bank Teller at Concordia Bank & Trust Co. for many years. She was a member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as an usher. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Emerick M. Henderson.

Angela leaves to cherish her memories: sons, Kaldrick Tenner and Fredrick Hauer; daughter, Davesia Tenner; godson, Stanley Searcy III; brothers, Derrick Henderson and Eugene Abraham; sisters, Audrey Bindon, Lazenda Abraham, Shirley Smith, Annette Winston, and Jeanette Winston; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
