NATCHEZ – The Stewpot needs your help.

Beverly Adams, director of The Stewpot, on Wednesday issued a community-wide plea for donations.

“Please donate sandwich meat, bread, and chips to the Stewpot by Monday, June 16,” she said. “We graciously depend on your help. Thank you for your support.”

Donations can be brought to The Natchez Stewpot, 69 E. Franklin St., between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

The Stewpot provides more than 340 meals each day to shut-ins and people in need.
