E911 down in Concordia Parish

VIDALIA, La. – Concordia is one of several parishes experiencing an interruption of E911 service today.

The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office posted a notice on Facebook about noon on Monday saying that 911 service is down in the parish. Residents should call 318-336-5231 in the event of an emergency.

Multiple law enforcement offices in the Northeast Louisiana region are reporting cellular outages that are impacting 911 operations.

The LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Office also reported it was unable to answer 911 calls due to the outage.

The LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Office said their landlines are still up. To reach LPSO, contact (318) 992-2151 or (318) 495-5128.

The Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office said the 911 system for its area is working, but the phone systems for the sheriff’s office and courthouse are down.

The Winn Parish Police Jury said the 911 system for its area is working. If a 911 call does not go through, Winn Parish residents should call the police jury at (318) 628-5824.
