NATCHEZ – Graveside service for Catherine “Cathy” Roberta Price, 68, of Natchez, will be held at Natchez City Cemetery on Friday, June 20, 20025, at 10 a.m. with Dr. Cory Bruce officiating, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Cathy was born on Saturday, Oct. 20, 1956, in Birmingham, AL, and passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in Alexandria, LA. Cathy was a true flower child—free-spirited, kind, and deeply connected to the earth. She loved nature in all its forms, especially her flowers and the soft music of wind chimes dancing in the breeze. Her heart belonged to her beloved cat, and she enjoyed watching frogs. Cathy had a gift for finding beauty in the simple things—collecting rocks, pieces of petrified wood, or anything unusual that caught her eye. She was a true hippie, grounded in peace, love, and a deep appreciation for the world around her. Cathy worked in restaurants where she took pride in serving others, always offering a warm smile and a generous heart. She lived with grace, curiosity, and a joyful spirit. A down-to-earth woman through and through, Cathy will be remembered for her gentle soul, her love of life, and the beauty she saw in every little thing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Earl Price and Mildred “Midge” George Price, and brother, Steven Earl Price.

Those left to cherish Cathy’s memories are her brother, Tim Price and his wife, Susan; nieces and nephews, Steve Price, Erin Price, Betty Catherine Price, Patricia Price, Alison Leann Ott, Adam Michael Price, and Ashley Carol Thornhill; and a host of great-nieces and nephews, family, and friends.
