VIDALIA – Funeral services for Deirdra White Arrington, 78, of Vidalia, who departed this earthly life on Friday, June 6, 2025, in Johns Creek, GA, will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Zion Baptist Church in Vidalia with Pastor Johnny Elery officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Deirdra was born on June 17, 1946, in Vidalia, the daughter of Margie Chatman White and Daniel White, Sr. She was retired from the Concordia Parish School Board. Deirdra was a member of Zion Baptist Church, where she served as an usher.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dorothy White, Hattie B. White, Irene White, Orma Jean James, and Cora White Dixon; and brothers, Dan White Jr., James Henry White, Leonard White, Willie White, and Elbert White.

Deirdra leaves to cherish her memories: her loving husband, Rickie D. Arrington; son, Kenneth White; daughters, Angela D. White and Erika Arrington Hunt (Adam); grandchildren, Akeilha L. Carmicheal (Darrian), Ernest Lyons III, Michael Hughes, Ja’Micheal Owens, Kendra Rydolph, Jessica White, Kendall Rydolph, Kennedy Rydolph, Kenneth Rydolph, Kenneth White II, Jaycee Gillis, and Musapha Campbell; great-grandchildren, King Carmicheal and Kairo Carmicheal; and a host of other relatives and friends.
