RIDGECREST – Funeral Services for Carolyn Ann Jamison, 68, of Georgia, formerly of Vidalia, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at St. Thomas Baptist Church, Ridgecrest, with Pastor Jonathan Jacobs officiating.

Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Carolyn Ann Lyles Jamison was born on Jan. 31, 1957, to Carrie Lyles and Ernest Payne. She made her Heavenly Journey home on Thursday, June 12, 2025.

Carolyn fell in love with and married Emanuel Jamison. They did not have any children. Unfortunately, things did not work out well for them, so they divorced.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Randy Young Sr., sisters, Leotha Williams and Victoria Lewis.

Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories, brothers, Michael Lyles, James White, and Kevin (Debra) Payne; sisters, Gwen (Billy) Taylor, Marie Yearby, Toni Payne, and Selvyn (Andrae) Payne; aunt, Odessa Stevenson; great aunt, Sadie Lyles; godchild, Carrie Sheeley and a host of other nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
