NATCHEZ – Funeral services for Michael “Sweet” Todd Douglas, 66, of Natchez, who departed this earthly life on Thursday, June 26, 2025, in Natchez, will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 6 p.m. at West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Michael was born on March 30, 1959, the son of Rebecca Williams and Samuel Douglas in Chicago, IL.  He was a 1978 graduate of North Natchez High School and was employed at Guido Self Storage. Michael enjoyed watching the New York Giants.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Mark A. Douglas, sister, Marsha Gordon, and his stepmother, Margaret Douglas.

Michael leaves to cherish his memories: daughter, Mechele T. Douglas of Gonzales, LA; son, Michael Smith of New Orleans, LA; brother, MacArthur Douglas of Natchez; grandchildren, DeJohn Williams and Jayce Williams of Gonzales, LA; special friends, Eugene Bruce and Dave Dunmore, other relatives and friends.
