NATCHEZ – The skies over Natchez will come alive with color and music this Independence Day during the Live at Five on the Fourth celebration at the Natchez Bluff and Miss-Lou Fireworks.
The event is set for Friday, July 4, and promises to be an unforgettable evening of entertainment, family fun, and patriotic pride – all culminating in a grand fireworks extravaganza at 9:30 p.m.
Hosted at 107 South Broadway, the annual celebration is free and open to the public, inviting families and visitors to enjoy one of the city’s most anticipated summer traditions.
The evening kicks off at 5 p.m., with The Lincoln Outfit taking the stage, delivering their signature high-energy rock performance. They’ll be followed by the soulful sounds of Mira.Got.Soul at 7:30 pm., bringing groove and rhythm to the scenic bluff overlooking the Mississippi River.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and plenty of patriotic spirit, as the bluff will transform into a sea of red, white, and blue. Food vendors, yard games, and activities for all ages will be available throughout the evening.
Adding to the excitement will be a special announcement from the Natchez Balloon Festival at 7 p.m. as well as remarks from Natchez Mayor Dan Gibson, highlighting the city’s ongoing commitment to community celebration and civic pride.
The main event – the fireworks show – will begin at 9:30 p.m., lighting up the Natchez sky in a dazzling tribute to America’s birthday.
