NATCHEZ – A graveside service for Willie Adrain Cauthen will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025, at Greenlawn Cemetery in Natchez at 10 a.m. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS, from 5 until 7 p.m. Rev. Rajesh Behara will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Willie Adrain Cauthen, 94, of Natchez, passed from this life on July 1, 2025, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born on May 11, 1931, in Collins, MS, to Oscar Theo Cauthen and Ruby Pearl Bullock Cauthen.

He enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing with his buddies. Most of all, he loved his Savior more than anything. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents, wives, Norma Cameron Cauthen, and Dyphane Elot O’Neal Cauthen; sisters, Infant Ruby Lee Cauthen, and Lillian Lindsay; brothers, Milton Cauthen, and Teddy Cauthen; and one infant grandson.

Survivors are his daughters, Billie Nan Wood (Charles), Norma K. Wheeler (C.L.); brothers, Tommy Cauthen, Margie Napier, Peggy McClain, Ida Lou Davis; two granddaughters; three grandsons; three great-granddaughters; eight great-grandsons; one great-great-grandson; and a host of family and friends.

Honorary pallbearers are his grandsons, Charles Scott Wood, William Brandt Pugh, Jeremy Wayne Wood, Tyler Brenton Brown, Cameron Locke Wheeler, Chase Robert Brown, Jeremy Maxwell Wood, Carter Mason Wood, Eastin Flipp Wheeler, Ace Wheeler Guedon, Paxtin Trygg Wheeler, and Bransen Layne Pugh.

He is also survived by his two granddaughters, Shyra Guedon, Erin Elizabeth Brown, and two great-granddaughters, Maggie Grace Brown, Triton Jorah Wood, and Mary Kaitlyn Wood.

The family requests that memorials be made in his name to Parkway Baptist Church in Natchez, MS.
