Lauren Wood/The Natchez Democrat — Parker Claire, 6, does her best to lift a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch Saturday night at the Longwood Halloween Carnival. Parker was dressed as the candy fairy from the game Candy Land. The carnival was a fundraiser for the PIlgrimage Garden Club.
Leighann LaFrance, 10, sits under a spotlight Saturday night while Lexi Coley, 17, paints a skeleton on LaFrance’s cheek at the carnival. Coley and other members of the Cathedral middle and high school cheerleading teams were painting faces at the carnival.
