Ferriday man charged with first-degree rape of victim under 13

FERRIDAY, La. — The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office Child Exploitation Unit recently arrested a Ferriday man for first-degree rape of a child under 13 in an ongoing investigation of sexual child abuse.

A release says the department began investigating the sexual abuse of a child on April 4 after receiving the information from a mandated reporter.

During the investigation, evidence was recovered that the man identified as Anthony L. Hunter Jr., 28, sexually battered multiple juvenile victims. The matter remains ongoing, CPSO states.
