Melissa Rouse of Natchez and Carson Nelson of Forkland, Ala., were married Feb. 18, 2012, at The Grand Soleil in Natchez with the Rev. Beth Miller officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Rouse of Natchez and Mrs. Connie Nelson and the late Mr. David Nelson of Forkland. The bride was given in marriage by her father and wore a strapless gown designed by Maggie Sottero. Jennifer Maher was matron of honor, along with nine bridesmaids and a flower girl. Colter Nelson was best man, along with nine groomsmen and a ring bearer.

A reception was held at Rosalie Mansion following the ceremony. After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple will live in Rolling Fork.
