Caroline Elizabeth Pool of Lexington, Ky., and Hunter Wood Hayes of Hopkinsville, Ky., were married at St. Mary Basilica in Natchez, with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.

Parents of the couple are Kathleen and Christopher Pool of Lexington, Ky., and Karen and Taylor Hayes of Hopkinsville. Grandparents of the couple are John and Mary Estelle Sanguinetti of Natchez, Jack and Margaret Pool of Dallas, Jimmy and Brenda Calvert of Cadiz, Ky., and Rebecca Wood and Robert Hayes, both of Hopkinsville.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Patrick Doherty and Michelle Sanguinetti Kunkelmann. Scripture readers were Margaret Cooley and Jennifer Brown, godmothers of the bride and groom, and Rebecca Cooley, cousin of the bride.

Program attendants were Morgan Anderson, Julia Deshazer, Campbell Hayes, Carter Hayes, Kirsten Sanguinetti and Melissa Sanguinetti.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Christopher Pool.

She wore white classic silk shantung strapless dress with a contrast band, bow belt and pockets from the Steven Birnbaum Collection. For the ceremony she wore a sheer beaded bolero. Her veil was handmade by Courtney Boyd, friend of the bride.

Maggie Pool, sister of the bride, of Lexington was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Hayes, sister of the groom, of Hopkinsville, Courtney Boyd of Denver, Colo., Danielle Porche of Lexington, Kirsten Gustafson of New Orleans, Naomi Malka of Louisville, Sarah Gihl of Chicago and Weslee Hall of Pensacola, Fla. They wore teal knee-length silk shantung dresses by Lynn Lugo.

Margot Nichols of Dallas and Adalyn Isom of Hopkinsville were flower girls.

Chris Brown of Denton, Texas, was best man. Groomsmen were A.J. Allison of Louisville, Alex Wegener of Indianapolis, Ind., Mark Spurlin of Louisville, Michael Henry of Louisville, Patrick Hall of Louisville, Phillip Whitaker of Hopkinsville and Scott Wilkes of Lexington.

Ushers were Graham Deshazer of Dallas, William and Benjamin Sanguinetti of Benton, La., Frederik Sanguinetti of Ferriday, Ethan and Austin Calvert of Hopkinsville.

Hayden Hayes of Hopkinsville was ring bearer.

A reception was at the Carriage House.

After a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the couple will live in New Orleans.
