Pleasant Acre Day School students have been busy sorting beads and filling out orders for customers ahead of this week’s Krewe of Natchez Indians Mardi Gras Parade. Haley Freeman sorts beads that will soon be sold to customers like Krewe of Heart and Soul co-founder and vice president Felicia Bowman, below, who selected a pile of beads to use in the upcoming local Mardi Gras parades. The bead shop is open 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday-Friday.
