Mary Jane McFarland March 16, 1921 April 3, 1999 MEADVILLE Services for Mary Jane McFarland, 78, of Bude, who died Saturday, April 3, 1999, at her daughter’s home in Meadville, will be held at 3 p.m. today at the Franklin Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Sam Howard and the Rev. Millard Moak officiating.

Burial will be in the Wallace Family Cemetery in Franklin County under the direction of the funeral home.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mrs. McFarland was born March 16, 1921 in Franklin County to Edward Monroe and Georgia Anna Wallace.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include three sons, James Winfield McFarland Sr. of Hattiesburg, Carroll McFarland of Smithdale and Leroy McFarland of Bude; three daughters, Bessie Maye Froust in Meadville and Anna Faye Middleton and Sue McCaa, both of Bude; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Alberta Sullivan and Ella Lee Seale, both of Meadville.

Pallbearers will be David McFarland, Billy Terrell, Donny Terrell, Leroy McFarland Jr., Monnie Froust, Buster Middleton, Terry Middleton and Michael Middleton.

Marie Ann Metcalf Tillman Jan. 1, 1946 April 3, 1999 FERRIDAY, La. Services for Marie Ann Metcalf Tillman, 53, of Vidalia, who died April 3, 1999 at Rapides General Hospital in Alexandria, La., will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Young’s Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. John Martin and the Rev. Bobby Cruse officiating.

Burial will be at Highland Park Cemetery in Sicily Island, La. under the direction of the funeral home.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Tillman was born on Jan. 1, 1946 in Ferriday to Marie and Alton Metcalf.

She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ralph Metcalf and Tommy Metcalf.

Survivors include her husband, James P. &uot;Jim&uot;&160;Tillman; two sons and their wives, Mike Tillman and Daniel and Stephanie Tillman, all of Vidalia; one brother and his wife, Alton V. &uot;Bud&uot; and Cathy Metcalf of Vidalia; two sisters and their husbands, Sue Gillespie of Ferriday and Doris and Dewey Watson of Vidalia; two sisters-in-law, Doris Tillman Craft of Vidalia and Grace Metcalf of Cash Bayou, La.; and two brothers-in-law and their wives, Don and Diane Tillman of Lockhart, Texas, and Bruce and Linda Tillman of California.

Pallbearers will be Keith Nations, Ronnie Gillespie, Larry Craft, Brian Bock, Seth Tillman, A.K. Moore, Don Tillman and Eugene Delaune.

Gary Nations will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Hazel O. Glover FERRIDAY, La. Services for Hazel O. Glover, 86, of Vidalia, who died April 4, 1999 in Natchez, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
