Mississippi Department of Transportation crews have been on the scene for two days, working to fix a huge sinkhole that formed Monday night on John R. Junkin Drive just east of the Mississippi River Bridge. Crews are filling the sinkhole with a stable and non-erosive clay gravel material that will not wash away. The material is packed down with a bulldozer.
