Helen Ann Reed Jan. 12, 1953 – Aug. 14, 1999 FAYETTE – Graveside services for Helen Ann Reed, 46, of Fayette, who died Saturday, Aug. 14, 1999, in Fayette, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16, at Locust Grove Cemetery with the Rev. E.E. Colenbert officiating. Services were under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home. Reed was born Jan. 12, 1953, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Charles Reed and Annie Matcarter Reed. Her religious affiliation was Baptist. Reed was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her daughter, Uganda Triika Scott of Oakland, Calif.; a son, Johnny Crawford Reed of Fayette; an uncle, Benny Ray Carter of Fayette; and a number of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were friends of the family.
