While George Jolla and Glen Lazarus lower a smoke blower onto the opening of a man hole, Stephen Guido and Mickey Gillespie, construction inspector for the city, light a 45,000 cubic-foot smoke bomb. Georgetown Construction and the City of Natchez are conducting leak tests in the city’s sanitary sewer system. The smoke will reveal if there are any leaks in the sewer system. They will test 800 feet of pipe line at a time and will continue for about 200 days.
