The Cathedral Green Wave learned they will have to hit the road in the first round, traveling to Gulfport St. John Oct. 16.

Cathedral and Wesson tied at 4-2 in Division 6-2A. Cathedral beat Wesson by more than the Lady Cobras beat the Lady Wave, but a different tiebreaker was used.

St. Andrews and Loyd Star tied for third and Cathedral and Wesson’s games against those teams were used as a tiebreaker.

&uot;We’re disappointed, but we’re still co-champions and we’ll use this as motivation,&uot; said Wave coach Lynn Ogden.
