CHA downs Huntington

Chamberlain Hunt, led by the running of Matthew Burrell, defeated the Huntington Hounds 14-6 Friday night.
Burrell had 24 carries for 100 yards and scored both touchdowns for Chamberlain Hunt, which overcame six fumbles and 100 yards in penalties for the victory.
&uot;This was the most outstanding defensive effort we’ve had since I’ve been here (six years),&uot; said CHA head coach Ken McLemore, who picked up his 354th career win.
Kenneth Clayton led Huntington with nine carries for 45 yards. Luke Davis had six rushes for 30 yards. Tom Terry Milliken completed only two of seven passes for 10 yards.
Chamberlain Hunt improved 5-3 overall. Huntington dropped to 3-5 overall and will play at Tensas next Friday.
