Mike Hurd transports a baby swimming pool for the duck pond game while setting up a carnival for the Great Mississippi River Balloon Race. Phoenix Carousel company from Tallahassee, Florida will spend the next day setting up rides and games at Fort Rosalie for the festival. The company also has a one-of-a-kind merry-go-round that features cypress porch swings instead of horses. The company will donate its proceeds to the Natchez Children’s Home. &uot;That’s why we’re excited, we’re here especially for the children,&uot; said company owner Dorothy Tobin.
