Hundreds of area children learned how the pioneers once lived at Historic Jefferson College Thursday, the final day of &uot;Pioneer Days – The Way it Was.&uot; Participants such as Hannah Nieman, Noah Roe, Stephanie Stokes and Seth Nieman experienced old things that are new to them, including this water well. Other activities including such things as craft demonstrations, food preparation and musical entertainment.
