Downtown drivers may have done a doubletake Friday morning as they witnessed Jaime Lambert, a teacher at First Presbyterian Playschool, direct traffic in her fairy costume. Lambert, dubbed &uot;traffic fairy&uot; for the day, helped folks such as Ruffin Cross, who was pulling his son Caleb Cross and friend Tucker Lewis, navigate across Main Street as playschool students got into the Halloween spirit early by trick or treating throughout downtown.
