Freddie Lyles leans over to smooth new concrete on the sides of the Vidalia (La.) Canal Monday afternoon. J.H. Parker Construction of Natchez has been contracted to work the 10-miles of drainage canal. It should take about three weeks to finish the upper work. The whole project should be completed in May.
